RESERVATIONS
& PAYMENT
Dear customers and business partners in Pre-Paid mode, we would like to remind you that your reservations must be paid at least 48 hours prior to the service being provided. For reservations requested for the next day or the same day (Last Minute), payment must be completed before the service is rendered. We cannot guarantee service from Pangea Bocas SRL until we have received payment.
Dear customers and business partners, please note that if a reservation is confirmed with a different rate than that indicated in our price manual, we will adjust it to the correct rate at the time of invoicing. Please send proof of payment to hello@pangeabocas.com.
Payments can be made via the PayPal platform, credit card, bank transfer, Yappy or direct deposit. Credit cards will be charged once the authorization form has been received in our office (Visa / MasterCard / American Express).
Direct deposits should be made to the Banco Nacional de Panamá account in the name of Pangea Bocas SRL, with legal identification number RUC 155751831-2-2024 DV: 54, current savings account Banco General: 04-70-96-721387-0. For payments made through the PayPal platform, the transaction costs will be borne by the buyer and not by Pangea Bocas SRL.
Reservations will not be confirmed until Pangea Bocas SRL acknowledges receipt of payment for the requested service in writing and/or the credit card authorization form.
Cancellations of reservations must be made 48 hours in advance to obtain a full refund of the total amount paid. Cancellations made 24 hours before the service will receive a 50% refund of the total amount paid. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance or on the same day of the requested service will not be refunded, and no-shows will also not be refunded.
IMPORTANT: Any cancellation by a client or business partner must be made in writing to info@pangeabocas.com and must be confirmed by Pangea Bocas SRL via the same means. The date of confirmation of the cancellation request by Pangea Bocas SRL will determine the cancellation fees applied.
SAFETY
To ensure that our customers and business partners have enjoyable and safe experiences, Pangea Bocas SRL would like to inform you of our policies:
• Pangea Bocas SRL reserves the right to cancel any activity if conditions pose a risk to the physical integrity of our clients and staff. Activities will only be conducted in accordance with established company policies. A full refund will be provided if, on rare occasions, the activity cannot proceed due to factors beyond our control, such as weather, tide levels, or wind. We can suggest a more suitable activity with a similar level of difficulty or offer other options so you can still enjoy your day in Panama. Our guides and captains will help make the final decision.
• Activities like kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, hiking, and others involve inherent risks and require physical exertion. Participants must be in good physical condition and should not have had recent surgeries, heart conditions, pregnancy, disabilities, or injuries. If you take medications (e.g., allergy pills) or have other medical concerns, please inform your guide.
• Panama's natural environment includes insects, snakes, and other wildlife. Additionally, landslides, rockfalls, and floods can occur. Pangea Bocas SRL cannot be held responsible for these natural occurrences.
• Pangea Bocas SRL holds a $150,000 liability insurance policy and is affiliated with a specialized paramedic company. However, we strongly recommend that clients obtain their own travel insurance from a reputable provider before participating in any tour.
• We recommend the following age groups for our activities:
Boat Tours and Fishing: 2 to 75 years old
Sunset Cruise: Adults only, 18 to 75 years old
Bar Crawl: Adults only, 18 to 75 years old
Ocean Kayak & Snorkel: 4 to 75 years old
Stand-Up Paddle: 10 to 65 years old
Nature Hike: 2 to 75 years old
For participants outside these age ranges or if an adult is accompanying a child, we ask that you request and sign a special waiver.
• We reserve the right to cancel any client’s participation if they are deemed unable to take a tour for their own safety and/or that of others. Clients must not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
• We recommend that clients know how to swim and feel comfortable in the water. Please do not bring valuables such as jewelry or passports to our activities. Pangea Bocas SRL and its partners are not responsible for lost, broken, or stolen items.
• Private tours are available for an additional cost. If you're interested in experiencing our activities, please contact us for more details about our exceptional day trips in Bocas del Toro.

Carbon Neutral Policy
At Pangea Bocas, we are committed to sustainability and environmental protection in our daily operations. As part of this commitment, we have implemented a carbon-neutral policy to minimize the environmental impact of our aquatic activities and actively contribute to the fight against climate change.
Objective
Our goal is to achieve a carbon-neutral balance in our annual operations by calculating and offsetting the carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions generated by the engines of our boats. To do so, each year, we conduct an analysis of our CO₂ emissions and carry out a reforestation campaign to offset our carbon footprint.
